Race - refers to a type of match in which the winner is declared by the first player
to
win specified number of games. Example race to 5, the first player who wins five times wins the match.
Rake - Mechanical bridge.
Rail Bridge - refers to bridging where bridge hand is resting on top of the rail during a shot.
Rail Shot - refers to a shot when the cue ball is frozen or very close to the rail.
Ring Game - in Nine Ball, when number of players playing is more than two.
Rock - refers to the cue ball.
Roll - refers to the breaks of the game.
Run Out - refers to a situation when a player pockets the balls in succession and win the game.
