Object Ball - other than cue ball everything else is object ball. The ball at which you are
shooting with the cue ball.
Over Cut - refers to a shot when object ball is hit by the cue ball with more angle than needed, which results
into a miss and turn of the other player.
Position - refers to the layout of the cue ball after a shot with relation to the next object ball to pocket.
Powder - refers to the talc material used to relieve the tacky hands.
Push Out - in Nine Ball, this refers to a safety shot immediately after a break when
cue ball is maneuvered with an intention of not giving a clear shot to the opponent.
The opponent may elect to accept or decline a push out.
