Inning - a player's turn a the billiard table.
Inside English - an application of side spin on the same side of the cue ball as the
direction of the object ball after a cut shot.
Jacked Up - 1. a shot is made with an elevated bridge over an obstructing ball. 2. a shot is made with
raise up cue butt higher than usual.
Jaws - edges of the pockets including that of the rubber cushions.
Jawed - a term used to describe an object ball that simply bounces between
the two edges of a pocket without falling into the pocket.
Jumped Ball - an obstructing ball that has been cleared.
