Go Off - to lose a lot or all the money in billiards.
Good Hit - when cue ball hit the intended object ball.
Grip - how the cue stick is held with the shooting hand.
Hanger - refers to an object sitting right in front of a pocket.
Head Rail - shorter rail of the table where you break.
Head Spot - a spot on the table located in the middle of the head string.
Head String - an imaginary line that runs across the table two diamonds up from the head rail.
Cue ball is place behind this line during the break.
Hooked - a situation where the cue ball is blocked by an object ball from having clear shot
on the designated object ball.
House Rules - a set of local rules by which you are expected to follow.
Hustler - refers to highly-skilled player disguised as low-skilled in order to lure the
naturally low-skilled opponent into playing for real money.
